Is the Pre the IPhone Killer? BlackBerry Destroyer? »

preprotect

Probably not.  However, I think everyone needs to get use to the fact that there is a new kid in town.  It amazes me how across all the forums, blogs, and boards, you read post after post of “fanboys” just trashing the Palm Pre.  It all sounds to me like a bunch of school girls making fun of the new girl:  OMG!, can you believe her hair, is she really wearing those jeans? she thinks she is sooo cooool.  But I don’t hear those comments, what I do hear is jealousy, jealousy, and more jealousy.  It almost makes me cringe.  I personally am not biased towards any of the phones. I think they are all fantastic; but it does strike me odd with all the talk i’ve been reading.  The Pre is really a mix of the Blackberry and Iphone: drawing on the strengths of each one.   The GUI of the IPhone and the keyboard of the berries.  You could think of it as an Iphone Blackberry baby: “Iberry.”  So it really has a lot going for it.  Would I buy a Pre? Well I’m content with my Blackberry; but if the Iphone and Pre both came to T-Mobile, then anything goes.  The bottom line is the Pre is the new kid and is here to say; it will most likely will give your “cheer captain” a run for their money–Maybe some pimples too.  With all differences aside, though, I think we Blackberry, Iphone, and Pre users can agree upon one thing: IT AINT WINMO.

Citigroup internal memo sparks Vicious Stock Market Rally. »

citigroup

We experienced a fantastic day on Wall Street today.  95% of the stocks on the NYSE were higher today, marking what some thing is the beginning of a market recovery.  Over the past few months we have experienced a few Rallies that always seemed to end in disappointment and a retracement lower than before.  However given today’s broad based rally in all sectors one should keep an open mind.  Let’s see if it can continue!

iPhone Killer?? Really.. we’ve heard that before! »

pre

After years of not so popular or fun mobile phones, Palm is set to release what they believe is the latest and GREATEST smart phone.  The Palm Pre does in fact seem awesome, but will it kill off the iPhone?  I don’t know, but I certainly can’t wait to find out!

David Beckham Stars in today’s soccer match. »

david-beckham

Most recently we heard that David Beckham’s soccer career with the L.A. Galaxy is on hold, and more than likely over.  He is to rejoin the Galaxy after A.C. Milan’s season, but will likely leave permanently in October when an “Exit Clause” in his contract is activated.  Will L.A., and/or the United States miss Becks??

Sydney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins during the first period against the Montreal Canadians.

Sometimes it seems that Sydney does in fact fly.  When all is said and done he will go down as one of the NHL’s greatest players.
